How to Change the World: the film, Q&A & step-by-step guide
April 23, 2015
Looking for a little post-Earth Day inspiration? One, if you’re in Toronto, line up to go see the documentary How to Change the World, on the early days of Greenpeace, led by the charismatic journalist-turned-activist, the late, great Bob Hunter. It blew me away so I did something I don’t normally do, I wrote a film review. The film will definitely inspire you to step up your game and get involved, however you can, on any issue that moves you, even if you’re not the ship-sailing, stand-in-front-of-a-whaling-torpedo kind of person. If you’re thinking, fine, but how the hell can I actually do something about this mess of a planet? That’s where Talkin’ ‘Bout a Revolution: Guide to Changing the World comes in, my accompanying piece on 5 easy steps you can take turn yourself into a change-maker. I actually jammed on that piece with Bob Hunter’s daughter, environmental media activist, Emily Hunter. Definitely read my Q&A with the wise Emily. This girl can motivate even the most cynical soul to believe that they can indeed change the world.
